The Mask I'm wearing..

Free Will - Yes or No?

I strongly believe in the saying that - Where there is a Will there is Way..

.. BUT I also started reflecting on Free Will. Its a controversial subject.

Are we the captain of the ship? Or, are we living our destiny - our past deeds, our Karma?

Here is what Robert Anton Wilson has to say from a scienftic perspective:

"All your joys and your sorrows, your memories and your ambitions, your sense of personal identity and free-will, are in fact no more than the behavior of a vast assembly of nerve cells and their associated molecules"

hmm.. Is there a self? May be its too early to discuss that subject. So lets concentrate on.. IS there such thing as Free Will or do we live a pre-defined pattern ?

Arthur Schopenhauer put the puzzle of free will and moral responsibility in these terms:
Everyone believes himself a priori to be perfectly free, even in his individual actions, and thinks that at every moment he can commence another manner of life. ... But a posteriori, through experience, he finds to his astonishment that he is not free, but subjected to necessity, that in spite of all his resolutions and reflections he does not change his conduct, and that from the beginning of his life to the end of it, he must carry out the very character which he himself condemns...."

Cause and Effect. Its called determinism, Free Will vs Determinism..

We are limited according to the laws of the universe, in our choices to x. Moreover, we are limited to our subconsious imprint,. WE will always make a choice that reflects our behaviour pattern, we might believe its Free and Independent however it is not.

UNTIL we are aware that we always react in the same way, until we say NO to our inner programming and choose be anew, to think differently, to react differently.. Until then we are a prisoners to our mind, to our self.. and there is no trace of Free Will.

My conlusion is that only liberated and enlightened beings can be Free of Will, Free of Cause & Effect, Free of limitations..

Through a coincidence I came across the "What the Bleep do we know anyway?" movie, which I have started watching a couple of days ago.. Its amazing how quantum physics, philosophy and spirituality all come together to form this blossoming lotus filled with unity, peace and love.. This movie is about getting a true insight into reality, and not about gaining anything for self-serving purposes.

Although I assume that most of my readers have already watched this movie, however for those of you who havent please stop what you are doing right now and go and get it..

To Infinity and Beyond

When you try to imagine infintiy, what comes to mind? I immediately visualise never-ending Space. But infinity is much more than that, it may be the answer to our never-ending questions.. May be ;-)

Bertrand Russell said very rightly: "If any philosopher had been asked for a definition of infinity, he might have produced some unintelligible rigmarole, but he would certainly not have been able to give a definition that had any meaning at all."

May be we have to re-phrase our question, rather then asking what is infinity we should ask what does infinity mean? How can infinity be applied to our every day living?

Douglas Adams points it with humor:

"It is known that there are an infinte number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely products of a deranged imagination."

Well the opinions may vary here.. To be or not be? Lets just accept the undebiable fact that we somehow think that we exist, hence lets look at the way infinity influences our world.

A very interesting point that Jean-Jacques Rousseau made is this:

"Falsehood has an infinity of combinations, but truth has only one mode of being." Is there anyone, who will deny this fact? Although, as I wrote in earlier posts, RIGHT and WRONG can vary from being to being, from perception to perception, however TRUTH undeniably has only one mode of being. Agree?

William Wordsworth further stated: "Suffering is permanent, obscure and dark, And shares the nature of infinity". This is very similar the Buddhist Teachings, which in my words has this underlying message:

.. for eons humas have been reborn.. suffering they choose, trapped like a mouse in a cage, walking the scroll wheel, over and over again. Yet they choose to come back, to do exactly what they have done before..

H. P Lovecraft sheds further light into this mystery: "We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far." May be it is right what Thomas More said: "By confronting us with irreducible mysteries that stretch our daily vision to include infinity, nature opens an inviting and guiding path toward a spiritual life." Somethings we can simply not describe by words, only with feeling with faith, with awareness can they be understood. "Our minds are finite, and yet even in these circumstances of finitude we are surrounded by possibilities that are infinite, and the purpose of life is to grasp as much as we can out of that infinitude" - Alfred North Whitehead

I would like to close this post with Swami Sivananda's quote: "Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in Eternal awareness or Pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity."

I can only encourage you to meditate. And I can promise you that it will bring calmness, and insight if practiced right. If you are confused and looking for a way out. Meditate and be here in the now. The answers will come to you effortlessly.

I wonder, why do people always want to be right?

Am not exluding myself.

Why cant we be happy about not being right?

The more progress happens, the stronger our individual egos become, it seems. We think our opinions are the only ones, we are narrow minded regardless of you us perceiving ourselves as openminded. Bullshit! Excuse my French :)

Why is it so difficult to listen? Why do we shut down our attention when it comes to a discussion, which is opposite to our opinion?

Why do we cling so much??

Why cant everyone be right?

Bottomline, we all have different parents, different cultures, different beliefs, different traditions, different languages, different EXPERIENCES.. Does that mean one is better than the other? Doese that mean one is right and one is wrong?

When we cut our finger, blood comes out. There we go, that makes us equal. We will all die. Thats an ultimate truth, huh? We all laugh, we all cry, we all grief.. hmmm you too?? We all eat, we all .. well you know..

So what is it that makes us sooo different?

Because once upon a time, someone draw a line in the country.. '..Now my people This is X and Y is your enemy..' Its actually funny thinking about that.. :) Seperate Territorium. Land is land. Right? So, then why are we radicals, fashists, patriots, proud to be this and that.. :) Sweety, proud of what?? You came to be through the same way as I did. Lets be friends, shall we? We have ATOM BOMBS? Who is going to push the button? Its a sad Joke!

Oohh you are jewish and you are muslims? Well thats different? Why is that different?

We are living in the 21st century. We have science and mathematics.. We have opportunities. At least some of us.. Shouldnt we be role models.. Why choose differentness?

I choose sameness, and I excuse myself and us, in the only thing that makes us different. And that is Experience, which makes the mind perceive things in diffent ways. So I excuse us when we are harsh, self centered, griedy, fundamentalistic, etc etc.. Its ok than you have seen differently, and you are right from your point of you. And I am right, from my point of you.

Its ok. Understanding will lead us further. Understanding eachother, and offering a helping hand will lead us further. In loosining up, in not taking ourselves so seriously will lead us further.

It will lead us further in a good way.

Have I lived up to my own expectations? NO! Have not. Am I unable, is my being unable? So it seems. It seems we are all our worst enemy. Today is an exampalary day..

Everything seems so undeserving to me.. Everything cries and bleeds, with hopeless eyes. This illusion has captured us. We are confused "what is right" "what is wrong", is there such thing. What makes you better than me.. Or better, is there any YOU or ME? Your purity, your calmness, your angelic views of life. Whose is that? Why all of this? Man what is the purpose. We are tired of analysing..

There is no such thing as inherent existence they say. Reflect on it they say. They say you dont exists, neither anyone else. The mind and body exists, but there isnt any you in it. Perception through senses exist, thoughts exists, hence conciousness.. But no U exists. Try to realise this. It currently enwraps my whole being.. I catch myself denying it. Catch myself diving into ignorance. Ignorance is the root of all suffering they say. Learn, understand they say. Abandon all that contradicts logic and experience they say. Dont believe blindly they say. Compassion is the highest good they say. How can they lie? They say everything is conditioned, impermanent. Nothing lasts forever, no happiness, no breath.. Dettach, seclude, concentrate, clear.. Dont get caught in Mayas trap they say.

Do not stress yourself, find your peace. On your own record. Slowly but surely.. they say!

And it confuses me more, makes me cry everyday. Lost my sense for daily things. Cant find myself anymore. What is this all about?

Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it`s worth.

When trying to understand the Law of Attraction, it's easiest to think of yourself as a magnet.

As you already know, magnets attract things. But they do it without even trying, right? It's the same for you. You attract things all the time and most of the time, you do it by default. Most of the time, you are not making a deliberate choice in what you are attracting to you. You get up, go to work, take care of the kids, feed the dog, go to bed - you go about your daily business. Maybe while you do it, you are focused on a problem that needs solved or a bad thing that happened or you are just tired or in a foul mood.

So, while you're doing that - focusing on something negative - you're unconsciously attracting negativity to you. No one sets out to attract negativity, of course, but we attract the likeness of what we are thinking about. If you're thinking about a lack of something in your life, for example, you'll continue to attract a lack, just like that magnet attracts metal.

If you consciously make a shift in your thinking, however, to something positive - like seeing yourself with abundance instead of scarcity, you will attract abundance.

The key to successfully doing this sounds a little easier than it is, but with practice, you can do it constantly and effectively. Though life will always through hardships in our way, the key to not letting those hardships stay around and keep you down is to not dwell on them constantly. When one arises, examine it briefly and then figure out how to use it to your advantage or let it go.

People tend to have habits of clinging to the bad things in life, the negative, the things we do not like - we dwell on them in our thoughts, we talk about them to our friends, we focus on what we do not like, because it bothers us.

However, by training ourselves to not cling to that negativity - to let it come up, look at it for a minute and then let it go - we are opening ourselves up and making room for the positive.

Instead of a lack, we will be open to abundance.
We won't be a magnet that is repelling all the good things in life simply because we're in the habit of hanging on to the bad.

The Buddha once said: What mental fermentations should be overcome by development?
If one by careful & rational attention develops the Concentration Link to Awakening based on seclusion, based on disillusion, based on ceasing, culminating in renouncing relinquishment, then neither can mental fermentation, nor any fever, nor any discontent ever arise in him.
In one whose body is calm and who enjoys a pleasurable happiness the mind becomes concentrated. The Concentration Link to Awakening arises right there. He develops it, and for him repeatedly meditating it goes gradually to the culmination of its development.

Since we are all ONE, and we all agree at least at the Purest Level of our Being, that All is Love, then that which gives the appearance of Darkness/Shadow/Negative is merely a turning away from that which we all are.

But if we are ONE then we all have the same capabilities,thoughts and feelings. Yes there is free will however is not all somehow predestined? Given that there is destiny, then we are not being given circumstances which to choose from. Does that mean that I am what I think I am because I had no other choice? Or, does that mean that there is no destiny? Why then things happen to exact to be put aside as coincidence. It may be wisdom that we do not understand.

If you are able to realize that black/white, positive/negative, etc. are opposites of each other, a function of Polarity...which is being eliminated from this Planet and beyond...then All simply IS. What though if I am not contend with this simple solution, what if I want to dig deeper. Can we?

We are in the process of taking the knowledge, the experiences from our lives into Wisdom...so that it can be released. Since there is only Love, then judging serves no purpose other than keeping duality in place and limiting our perception. I understand that we have been imprinted with the good/bad programming, and it is a process to move from that to looking at all that happens as experience(s), neither good nor bad, most set up by our Soul to help us come to realizations, or for growth. Sounds like a computer game. We all are actors, acting upon circumstances given. Along the way we have specific skills and abilities.. When we do the right think we earn points and through our thoughts we can encash these points for a useful tool. We must know how to use the tools though. Then through different experiences we realize? So much suffering to realize what? Why do we have to realize that we have known before? Maybe we have forgotten but we knew. We were one. We were indifferent. There was no polarity. So whats the point in going through all of this?

We say that the underlying truth is love but Is not love the starting point of polarity. Love for your children. Love for your family. Love for your friends. Love for your country. Is not love attachment to something or someone? Through attachment dont we fight anything that we sense as enemy to our love. So should we love without attachment. How is that possible?

There is nothing I can force myself into. There must be motivation throughout. Motivation refers to the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of behavior.

Motivation should come from within for the well fare of all sentient beings.
Easier said then done.

To help me apply this I use the 4 noble truths. Known to many but understood by so few..

1) The Existence of Impermanence
Nothing exists forever. This helps me to be more aware of how I am reacting to my experiences at all times.

2) The Arising of Suffering because of Craving.
Say you want something and you don't get it - you'd get sad or frustrated. But say you want something and you do get it. Eventually you'll get bored with it and you'll start wanting something else. And so you start all over again.

3) The Cessation of Suffering
So if you can stop this endless wanting, you won't suffer anymore. That's not to say that you won't ever feel pained or sad (or happy or ecstatic) ever again. It's just that it won't be part of an endless cycle of wanting - not getting - being sad - wanting again.

4) The Middle Way
To end eternal craving one should follow the eightfold path, which I will detail down soon.

This is for those who have only little dust on their eyes..

Fist the idea then the reality..

Every statement is true in one sense, false in another, and meaningless from the standpoint of the Tao. This is a function of one's world-view.

In a molecule of hydrogen, the three tendencies of attraction, repulsion and stabilization are completely eliminated when the molecules are separated by an infinite distance. The Buddha says in respect of the eternal truth about "arising of all", they arise due to the threefold desire consisting of the desire for sensual pleasures the desire for existence and the desire for annihilation. The parallel to this discovery is the attraction, repulsion and stabilization of the molecules as mentioned above. And, this principle applies generally to each and every process in the universe.

The Law of Opposites is related to the Law of Duality and also to the Law of Polarity. It represents the oppositional poles to be found in all planes of manifestation, all levels of becoming. Whatever and wherever we focus our attention, we send energy rays. By focusing our attention on an object with a certain thought or feeling, we impress our thought-feeling force upon the object, thus influencing it. Energy follows mental attention. For instance: attraction-repulsion; cold-hot; contraction-expansion; darkness-light; destruction-construction; evil-good; love-fear; night-day; nothing-everything; spirit-matter, etc.

When an object is perceived to be pleasant one is attracted to it. But if it is found unpleasant one is repelled from it. Thus arise attraction for and repulsion towards the objects that we come into contact with. Out of the feelings of attraction, repulsion or indifference, one develops
preferences and attachment for things in life. Born from the conditions of attraction, repulsion and error, attachment, aversion and delusion originate. Therefore, attachment, aversion and delusion are non-existent in their intrinsic being. The object of imagination is not existent. Without the object of imagination, how is imagination existent? Therefore, since they are originated from conditions, the object of imagination, and imagination itself, are empty.

Lao-tzu says, "The scholar learns something every day, the man of tao unlearns something every day, until he gets back to non-doing." Just simply, without comment, without an idea in your head, be aware. What else can you do? You don't try to be aware; you are. You will find, of course, that you can not stop the commentary going on inside your head, but at least you can regard it as interior noise. Listen to your chattering thoughts as you would listen to the singing of a kettle.

The actual underlying state of the universe is unknowable to us as long as we retain the world-view of the separateness of self. "..You can become one with the universe but you cannot step back and observe it, because you are in it. You cannot observe a phenomenon without altering it by your mode of perception. There is no such thing as an independent observer. You participate in creating the world by perceiving it..." This is proven in laboratory experiments concerning the behavior of subatomic particles. Physicists have discovered that their own mental force or observations upon subatomic particles influences those particles greatly, causing them to act in an erratic and unpredictable manner.

No world-view or belief framework may encompass the whole world. No world-view is universally valid. "Two models, or "laws" may conflict with each other and still be true in their proper context;" or on the other hand, they may be false. "Two people may experience the same event yet perceive entirely different occurrences." What is real to one may be unreal to another. Our nerve receptors or senses are limited in the scope of frequencies that they may receive. Our minds are restricted as to its faculties. Our interpretations of what we experience may be faulty. Our rationality is circumscribed by the intellect, the world out there is as it is. The world is not bound by the confines of our world-views.

What I am trying to point out is neiter of us is wrong nor right, there are as many truth as there are lives. ..

Instead of selling your catch to a middleman your would sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. Your would controld the product, processing and distribution. Your would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico city, then Los Angeles and eventually New York, where your wouold run your expanding enterprise.'

The Mexican fisherman asked, 'But Senor, how long would this all take?'

To which the American replied, 'Fifteen to twenty years.'
"But what then senor?"
The American laughed and said that was the best part. 'When the time is right your would sell your company stock to the public and become very rich. You would make millions.'
"Millions, Senor? Then what?"

The Fast of Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan started yesterday and also I started fasting. For the next 4 weeks some of us will not eat nor dring from Sunrise to Sunset. Though the month is exclusive to the Islamic religion, the concepts of self-discipline and purification that Ramadan embraces are integrated within the concept of all major faiths throughout the world.

The substence to be understood has long been forgotton. What are the reasons behind the 4-week-fasting-dicipline?

The differences in individual religions aside, I believe that self-sacrifice shows commitment while strengthening ones mind. Gandhi agreed that this commitment is beneficial.
"The concept of sacrifice of giving up everything that you are attached to, you gain mental control," Gandhi said. "Your mind grows stronger. ... Everything in our lives is for physical well-being, but this is for your spiritual well-being."

Properly understood, fasting is a means for focusing on spiritual realities. It is a discipline to remind ourselves that our deepest longings as human beings cannot be satisfied by food and drink, but only by realizing - that "our hearts are restless until they rest in Thee." - St. Augustine's prayer. The fast is performed to learn discipline, self-restraint and generosity, while obeying God’s commandments. In fact, one of the main purposes of fasting is to instill in us empathy for the poor and the less deprived. By exposing us to compulsory hunger, we are given a practical lesson in hunger and thirst and thus we become better motivated to empathize with the poor.

Most often we live at a very superficial level of our existence, forgetting our true essence and identity as human beings. In other words, we become totally preoccupied with the physical and material dimensions, forgetting the spiritual core of our personalities. Ramadan, therefore, comes to remind us of who we truly are and how we can discipline ourselves in such a way that we are fully awake to our full spiritual potential.

This discipline is a special way of seeing to it that this lesson sticks in our lives. By saying "no" for a time to the things we normally look to for satisfaction, we acknowledge once again that the only truly safe and secure place is in Him.

I am exhausted!
We are craving, aiming for something that is not real - something that can never be fulfilled. They say if you can not make the NOW worthwhile and accept the moment with whatever it gives you, than your future will not be as you hope it will. They say if you stuck in your past and bathe in your misery of past suffering you will never come to understand. Free yourself. They say suffering is blessing, you are being giving the opportunity to understand. They say look inside you, you might be the one who creates the status quo. May be you want to suffer. You are what you think - has some truth, doesnt it? Suffering is a form of identification without it you would loose your identity. Who are you anyway? They say open your mind, your heart will find stillness, feel the consiousness of the REAL 'I'. I say lead me but they say: you will find your path at your own pace. They say no matter what path you follow though it will ultimately lead to the source. And they say everything will be alright, the Source has a plan.. For that split second a mix of love and peace touches my Soul and for that split second I know I found TRUTH. When it disappears and life surrounds me with doubts, pesimists, paranoids, liars, talkers, cheeters, rassists, narrow-minded-ego-machines, plastic barbies, fanatics, evils, greedy insanes - I long back to that moment of counsiousness, wouldnt you? They say it is impossible to apprehend the concept of REALITY with our mind. They say it is impossible to speak about the greatest mistery of ALL. I say the Source is the TRUTH and they 'de facto'. A friend told me that one needs to be in stage of suffering to be able to manifest creativity. I say, yes it might be but true creativity must come out of beauty. Peace, Beauty, Hormony can only be the source of the Source. Look around, look around and tell me what you see.. Arent the mountains so stark, arent the seas so deep and powerful, arent the trees so wise, arent the butterflies so beautiful, arent the lions so loyal, arent the dolphins so joyful...and that man on the corner working 16/7 in order to bring food on the table isnt he joyfull? What about the mother who lost her child, arent her tears liquid love.. Now I am asking how can you be so blind to beauty. Is a childs smile not the smile of an angel? Does a dying child dont take your breath away? How can we be so blind!!!!!!!!!!! Stop complaining for your own sake.

Are we really consious do we really know!?? Nah.. we dont. We can not see the whole picture. Lets explore the concept of the Ego, Mind and Soul. Where shall we start? Lets look inside rather then trying to find the answers outside. What do you mean? This can not be explained by mainstream science, although Neurology, Physchology and Quantuum Physics are getting closer to the concept.

Take this:
A fakir, a beggar, was praying in a mosque, just early in the morning when it was still dark. It was a certain religious day for Mohammedians, and he was praying, and he was saying, "I am nobody. I am the poorest of the poor, the greatest sinner of sinners."
Suddenly there was one more person who was praying. He was the emperor of that country, and he was not aware that there was somebody else there who was praying - it was dark, and the emperor was also saying:
"I am nobody. I am nothing. I am just empty, a beggar at our door." When he heard that somebody else was saying the same thing, he said, "Stop! Who is trying to overtake me? Who are you? How dare you say before the emperor that you are nobody when he is saying that he is nobody?" This is how the ego goes. It is so subtle. Its ways are so subtle and cunning; you have to be very, very alert, only then will you see it.

Why are you trying to prove yourselves? Can you not feel it? Why are you trying to proctect your ego? Who do you believe you are? Well i believe you are more then that! Why do we think that our point of view must be the only right view? - We all do that! When did we stop being a child and became this ego centered-knowledge-machine? What is knowledge anyway? Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not rational, it can not be explained. One knows. One feels.

Alara said: "What is that self which perceives the actions of the five roots of mind, touch, smell, taste, sight, and hearing? What is that which is active in the two ways of motion, in the hands and in the feet? The problem of the soul appears in the expressions 'I say,' 'I know and perceive,' 'I come,' and 'I go' or 'I will stay here.' Thy soul is not thy body; it is not thy eye, not thy ear, not thy nose, not thy tongue, nor is it thy mind. The I is the one who feels the touch in thy body. The I is the smeller in the nose, the taster in the tongue, the seer in the eye, the hearer in the ear, and the thinker in the mind. The I moves thy hands and thy feet. The I is thy soul.

You might say its your brain.. I then suggest you might want to explore Neurology..

The Ocean

Below are my favourites:

In ancient greek..
- Meditation and Wisdom equal to 781
- Fire and Courage share the same mathematical value of 580
- The saying "God of my heart" would be 1708 which is numerically equalent to SOUL.
- Knowledge and Power share the same value
- In Greek "creation" and "cycle" share the value 740.
- It is interessting to observe Law, Mathematics, and Number share the value 430.
- "Man", and "Nature" share a value of 1310.

Where is the fine line between coincidence and fate??

It may be debated whether these synchronicities of isopsephia arise from chance, human ingenuity, or divine inspiration. Perhaps all three are responsible in different instances...

I do not understand a lot about science, but i know that new science and mystism seem to agree on many many points..

Scientist says:
For hundreds of years, scientist have thought that the simplest objects in the universe are points, like dots. String theory says that this is wrong and that the simplest objects in the universe are shaped like pieces of string. These strings are so small that even when looked at very closely they look like points. Each basic particle is created by the strings vibrating in different patterns.The basic idea behind all string theories is that the fundamental constituents of reality are strings of energy - Motion, vibrations consequently melody our creators melody..

The scientist of today says the same thing. He calls it radiance, atom, electron, and after going through all the different atoms of substance he arrives at a substance that he calls movement. Movement is vibration. Hmmm.. makes one think..

Everyone loves music, people are emotionally attached to music, some may even cry when listening to a particular tune how is it that music can move or mind, body and soul.. sound does effect us there is no doubt about that.. The healing with sound is practiced in major universities and hospitals all over the globe. Do we agree?

Are you one of ME sometimes thinking what am I doing? Not sure about the aim.. longing for perfection as a means of happiness.. A never ending circle of trying, which ultimately leeds to unhappiness as the result can never be reached.. Did you ever try to listen to your mind and to your thoughts.. I am trying and it makes me sad to realize how wrong and judgemental my thoughts can be and how noisy my mind is.. It drives me almost crazy trying to find stillness in me. I cant find it! Are you on your way to liberation? Can you say "No!" to the myriad forms of egoism and selfishness, of greed, anger, and delusion, which generate and proliferate consumerism, environmental degradation, poverty, racism, sexism, immorality, and social injustice? Are you able to say no to the simplest form of nastyness, e.g lying? Are you seeking for purity for justice for peace for equality? Are you a slave of your mind, never able to find light and true happiness.. Does your mind rely upon things — outer authorities, consumer goods, power, sex, drugs, beliefs, theories, ignorance. Do you look away when your boss degrades your collegaue in front of everyone else? Are you afraid of your shadow? What if you die within the next hour? Will your "things" buy you freedom? Or will you just disappear in the Universe? Do you think it is as simple as that? Have you ever felt free? Are you happy one day and sad the next day because you have not been able to.. Do you belive that your actions influence someone you have never seen? Do you make an effort to think about starving children when your buy your designer shoes... I am not saying I do, but I am thinking aloud asking those questions to myself rather then to you on the world wide web.. I am sharing with you.

So what must be done? I am confused?? Are you?

There are many things to which we must learn to say "No!" Everything stupid, degrading, destructive, and obsessive must be chased away with . In the end, we should be left with only the healthy, the worthy, the just, the necessary, the peaceful, and the truly human (as well as divine).

Most of us live within minutes of some environmental tragedy, merely a blink of the eye if we live in a city or suburb. The forests are disappearing fast. A nearby dam ruins one river and a planned dam threatens another. The local market town is full of noise and the streets are full of plastic. The children eat junk food and toss the foil wrappers into the gutter. Men toss their whiskey bottles. Pesticides are used indiscriminately. You know what is going on around you. Say "No!" to dirty air, dirty water, dirty food, dirty money, dirty minds!!! To apply to social situation is just a start, merely a holding action. The roots of the problems are deeper, that is, within the hearts of US. There isn’t enough space to examine the other harmful emotions: fear, worry, greed for power, competition, lust, boredom, guilt, envy, excitement, etc.

Now there is some fresh air in the room, some peace.

I thank you for reading this, and I am hoping you may want to think about the words everyday. Feel free to share with me..

May all of us find true happiness and may all of say NO! to blindness.

There's an old saying, "If God is for me, who can be against me?" The answer is "No one."

When you allow the Universe to help you, then no one and nothing can be against you, including your past. Past programming can be dissolved with the concept that Life is always looking out for your Highest Good. All you have to do is be present for yourself and for Life. If you know you need to change your diet and begin exercising to improve your health, you do it to support yourself and Life. Suppose you're in a demeaning relationship. Instead of trying to fix the relationship, you show yourself that you're worth better treatment by leaving the relationship.
All of the Universe is on your side. You can trust Life to love and support you, but first you have to believe in yourself and in it. Even if uncomfortable and so-called disastrous things have happened to you in the past, God is for you. Tapping into that feeling and affirming it to yourself will give the Power of the Universe a conduit to flow through to help you. As you reclaim yourself and step in the direction of Self-trust, the Infinite rushes in to meet you. Acknowledge this, and your thought power will attract more joy just as your affirming self care actions.
